They arent moving Pavs, Couture or EKane so thatd leave Meier, Hertl or as mentioned before, Donskoi

Habs now have the pieces to get it done but unlikely they move Meier, they almost acquired Herts in a package at the draft for Pacioretty. Donskoi is the type of player Bergys been loading up on, fast, works his ass off every shift and adds to the speedy Finn contention

Well, the Sharks are stacked with defense men, so the Habs are going to give up a winger for another winger? Goal tending is a possibility. I would trade Price, but the Habs are unlikely to do so. Charlie Lingren is a very good goalie. He's some team's future for sure. Andrew Shaw could be a possibility. He's a guy with two Cup rings and a playoff performer. The Habs need a sniper. The Sharks could use a character playoff guy.

You'd like to dump Karl Alzner and his salary, but most teams will not trade for him, especially the Sharks. It looks like if these two teams make a deal, it will be a minor one.
